Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of working drawings and ability to troubleshoot ACMV faults.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability/Green Mark is advantageous.

Job description
Job Descriptions:
  • To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
  • Advice and lead the technical investigations for rectification works.
  • Responsible for maintaining the daily AC thermal comfort within acceptable limits.
  • Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
  • Assist in liaising with clients and provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
  • Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
  • Conduct regular inspection of existing Electrical Installation and Air‑con system to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification and/or ad-hoc works.
  • Investigate, analyse and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively.
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns.
  • Assist prepare SOR/Quotations/RFQ, compile monthly Utilities and PM reports.
  • Act as secondary point of contact in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
  • Assist lead and conduct daily Toolbox Meeting as and when required.
  • Any other tasks, when required by Facilities Manager.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering equivalent.
  • 3‑5 years of local experience in ACMV / HVAC Trade or Facilities Management.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E details, working drawings and ability to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults preferred.
  • Multi‑tasking, good communication skills and positive mindset.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability/Green Mark is advantageous.
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
