Who are we looking for?
- To be part of Technical Service Support Team, providing laboratory analysis for customer samples from CS, IS, AAS, and Offshore divisions.
- Manage laboratory chemicals inventory and PO requisition.
- Monthly report consolidation for samples analysed in Singapore, Penang, and Thailand.
- Maintain laboratory instruments in operation with PM schedules.
What will you be doing?
- Chemical analysis on customer samples covering the 4 business divisions namely; CS, IS, AAS, and Fluid Offshore samples.
- Document test and analysis results for submission to sample requestors in the system.
- Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses using techniques such as spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques, and microscopy.
- Test and analyze product samples from the Technical Service Team for preliminary investigation from customer requests for verification.
- Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, process monitoring, or process control.
- Order and inventory materials to maintain supplies as part of their job function.
- Prepare purchase requisition for laboratory reagent/equipment maintenance/instrumentation.
- Prepare chemical solutions for use in processing materials, following standardized procedures.
Who are You?
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science disciplines from a four-year college or university.
- 3+ years of related experience in chemical analysis and experience in operating laboratory instrumentation, AA, ICP, HPLC, and IC.
What competencies will you need?
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail, and other PC application skills.
- Hands-on experience operating laboratory instruments, AA, ICP, HPLC, CVS, and IC.
