Job summary

Job description

The duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Conduct sampling, inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process materials and finished products and ensure the materials are in compliance with established specifications.

  • Release finished products in both QA and SAP System.

  • COC or COA issuance to customers.

  • Perform environmental monitoring to verify the effectiveness of overall hygiene practices in manufacturing plant

  • Organize and maintain laboratory documents and records.

  • Maintain all the measuring equipment in QC laboratory and ensure they are calibrated or verified as scheduled.

  • Maintain good housekeeping in QC laboratory.

  • Assist in investigating and identify the root cause of non-conforming issues, ensure proper corrective actions have been implemented to resolve the discrepancies and prevent the recurrence.

  • Document and report quality findings, deviations, and corrective actions taken, maintaining accurate records, logs, and inspection reports for traceability purposes.

  • Support process troubleshooting (include but not limited to new ingredient trial, equipment verification and validation, allergen management and plant hygiene verification) and provide feedback to relevant departments on food safety and food quality aspects.

  • Support and participate in continuous improvement projects as required.

  • Perform any other duties and tasks assigned by immediate superior or manager.
