Resumo da oferta
A leading Singapore accounting firm is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing, prepare audit schedules, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and professional certifications. Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS and ERP software is essential. This role offers competitive pay commensurate with experience.
Qualificações
- At least 5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in Audit and Assurance is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Responsabilidades
- Handle full sets of Accounts.
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare audit schedule and answer queries from auditors.
Conhecimentos
Working knowledge of Singapore FRS / IFRS standards
Accounting Software - ERP
Strong Excel knowledge
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented and outgoing
Formação académica
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent qualification
Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA)

Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of Accounts
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliation of accounts, management and cash flow reports
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST, annual tax returns and other statutory filings
- Prepare audit schedule and attend to the queries raised by external auditors
- Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to manage the tax filing process
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretary and government authorities for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliation & attend yearly stock take activity
- Maintain Fixed Assets Register and ledger
- Review, implement and improve financial workflows/processes to strengthen internal control and compliance and to enhance operational efficiencies
- Provide guidance, advices & support to the accounts team
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent qualification with working knowledge of Singapore FRS / IFRS standards.
- Hold relevant professional certifications, such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, etc.
- Experience in Audit and Assurance is preferred
- Preferably with at least 5 years of accounting experiences
- Proficient in Accounting Software - ERP
- Strong Excel knowledge and application
- Meticulous, possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work well under pressure and able to cope with tight deadlines
- Team-oriented, outgoing and able to work with minimal supervisionSalary commensurate with experience
