Job summary
A construction consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor. The role involves sourcing suppliers, preparing tenders, evaluating claims, and managing cost assessments. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience in the industry. This position offers a competitive salary range of $3200 to $4000 and works Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers and subcontractors for quotations.
- Evaluate price comparisons and prepare costing summaries.
- Prepare tenders and bills of quantities.
- Evaluate claims submitted by subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare monthly progress claims.
Skills
Education
- Working Days: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm
- Location: Office at Ubi Cres working at site (Geylang / Bukit Timah)
- Salary: $3200 to $4000
- Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or equivalent with minimum 4 years’ relevant working experience in construction industry.
- Source for suppliers and subcontractors for quotations for tendering.
- Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
- Prepare tenders, measurement and preparation of bills of quantities and quotations.
- Evaluation of claims/ bills submitted by Subcontractor/ Supplier.
- Prepare monthly progress claim.
