Job summary
A leading multinational engineering firm is looking for an experienced individual to serve as the administrative head of its subsidiaries in Singapore, South East Asia, and the Middle East. The role requires extensive travel and experience in marketing within the engineering segment. Candidates should possess a Master's qualification, have at least five years of relevant experience, and be fluent in English along with one Asian language. This position also demands proficiency in Information Technology, strong team management skills, and a polished demeanor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a Marketing position in an engineering segment.
- Experience in Administration & Team Management is an asset.
- Ability to prepare and present reports to management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as administrative head of subsidiaries in Singapore, South East Asia, and Middle East.
- Launch new subsidiaries and representative offices in targeted regions.
- Grow customer base for the company's engineering equipment.
- Travel extensively to new market destinations.
Skills
Education
- To be administrative head of subsidiaries of the company in Singapore, South East Asia and Middle East
- To launch new subsidiaries and representative offices in South East Asia and Middle East
- To grow customer base for the company's industrial engineering equipment in Singapore, South East Asia and Middle East
- Extensive travelling and extended stays at destinations where markets are being launched will be inevitable
- Must possess a Masters qualification from a reputable institution, preferably in both engineering and economics
- Age: 30 - 35 years old
- Must have at least five years relevant experience in a Marketing position in an engineering segment
- Experience in Administration & Team Management would be added assets
- Must be proficient in Information Technology and be able to prepare and present reports to senior management/board of directors
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English and one Asian language essential; ability to speak Urdu or Farzi preferred
- Must be independent, self‑motivated and target driven
- Must be polished, well‑groomed and personable
