A leading semiconductor manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to handle customer claims and assure product quality through audits and reporting. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and 2-5 years of QA experience in the semiconductor sector, along with strong statistical and quality management skills. The position emphasizes critical thinking and teamwork, offering the chance to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Formación
- 2 – 5 years in QA experience in semiconductor environment.
- Implementation of SPC and QA control measures.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Handle customer claims.
- Lead Materials Review Board meetings.
- Report on process/product capability.
Conocimientos

Herramientas
- Customer claim handling.
- Deployment of Corrective & Preventive Action System – including verification of effectiveness of actions taken.
- Lead or attend Materials Review Board (MRB) to assure only quality of products to be shipped.
- Quality data reporting: Process / Product capability reporting (internal / external).
- Work with relevant departments to ensure CofC reporting is meeting customer requirements.
- Internal process and system audits.
- Participation in customer audits.
- Contributions to continuous improvement activities in support of company goals.
- Other job assignments as and when tasked by QM & QA HOD / Section Head/ Manager.
- Degree in Engineering, B. Sc (Physics or Chemistry)
- 2 – 5 years in QA, experience in implementation of SPC and QA control measures in semiconductor environment.
- Strong in statistical techniques and use of statistical tools.
- Critical thinking skills
- Knowledge in use of quality tools – FMEA, SPC, DOE, PPAP, APQP, MSA
- Basic knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949), with audit experience advantage
- High level of PC skills – excel, word & powerpoint.
- SQL skills
- Team player & can work independently
