Job summary
A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a skilled laboratory technician to perform calibration and maintenance of lab instruments. Candidates should have a diploma in engineering and 1-2 years of relevant experience in lab or medical equipment servicing. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, managing inventories, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role offers competitive compensation within the range of up to 3.3K SGD monthly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in lab or medical equipment servicing.
- Hands-on experience in calibration or equipment maintenance preferred.
- ISO 17025 knowledge is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of lab instruments.
- Plan and coordinate calibration activities to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Skills
Education
Up to 3.3K
- Perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of lab instruments (e.g. incubators, balances, chambers)
- Plan and coordinate calibration and maintenance activities to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and equipment logs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and liaise with vendors when required
- Manage spare parts, consumables, and related inventory
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with quality, audit, and safety standards
- Min. Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in lab, medical, metrology equipment servicing or calibration
- Hands‑on experience in calibration or equipment maintenance preferred
- Familiar with documentation systems (ELN / LIMS is a plus)
- Able to read technical documents and calibration procedures
- ISO 17025 knowledge is an advantage
- Detail‑oriented, independent, and comfortable in a lab environment
