Job summary

A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a skilled laboratory technician to perform calibration and maintenance of lab instruments. Job Scope

• Perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of lab instruments (e.g. incubators, balances, chambers)
• Plan and coordinate calibration and maintenance activities to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and equipment logs
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and liaise with vendors when required
• Manage spare parts, consumables, and related inventory
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with quality, audit, and safety standards

Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in lab, medical, metrology equipment servicing or calibration
• Hands‑on experience in calibration or equipment maintenance preferred
• Familiar with documentation systems (ELN / LIMS is a plus)
• Able to read technical documents and calibration procedures
• ISO 17025 knowledge is an advantage
• Detail‑oriented, independent, and comfortable in a lab environment
