Summary
Responsible for maintenance of equipment in production and provide support on process issues.
Responsibility
Operate a process/equipment and conduct maintenance.
Set-up and adjust equipment to ensure smooth flow of production.
Perform daily production work, such as operating automated machines and performing production assembly works.
Maintain good manufacturing practices all the time and ensure zero non-conformance product.
Perform line clearance before starting a work and ensure:
The equipment/machine is qualified (e.g. within the validated maintenance/calibration date).
The tools are verified as per work instruction.
All the process parameters are verified as per work instruction.
The materials are verified as per BOM and ensure that there are no other materials in the workstation.
Ensure 5’S and cleanliness in the work area.
Maintain proper records for production data and comply with GDP.
Assist manufacturing engineers in providing technical support to production to meet the daily production goals in terms of quality, output, yield, and delivery.
Maintain compliance with EMS, QMS, cGMP, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing activities.
Support other processes and/or other duties as assigned.
Requirement
Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering related disciplines or equivalent.
At least 3 years of related work experience would be an advantage.
Good mechanical or industrial aptitude and knowledge.
Work experience related to plastic extrusion or injection moulding would be an advantage.
MS Office skills and computer skills.
Possess a positive mindset and willingness to learn.
Ability to speak, read, and write basic official emails for communication in the workplace.
Able to work independently and also work well with a team.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and their documentation requirements and quality systems.
