Job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

included but not limited to:

• Perform a repetitive and wide range of mechanical assemblyoperations in support of production projects; perform assembly of complexdiscrete wire harnesses and multi-conductor jacketed cables, coax, twin-ax, andtri-ax cables, power, and flat cable assemblies.
• Assembles, modifies reworks, and/or reassembles production components, utilizing drawing, picking tickets, processing documentation, and/or verbal instructions.
• Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machinesincluding but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clampmachine, heat gun, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wirestrippers.
• Clean parts prior to production use as required
• Identify wires with the usage of the basic color codesequence.
• Participate in first-time production runs of new products.
• Support cycle counting activity, inventory handling, andinventory transactions following established material procedures.
• Participates in continuous improvement and team-buildingactivities; maintains productive working relationships with all team members
• Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of machines andtechniques in this industry and/or similar industries.
