Overview

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from Operations (Purchasing, Planning, Inventory and Master Scheduling) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, utilizing data visualization tools to present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions for efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Design and enable the creation of an analytics platform for Purchasing, Planning, Master Scheduling and Inventory
• Create clear and concise data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards using Power BI) to communicate insights to stakeholders and decision-makers
• Prototype analytic products using Snowflake and Power BI
• Develop project plans and timelines for Analytics Products
• Act as liaison between the business (Manufacturing) and the IT organization (Snowflake, Power BI and Software Developers)
• Prepare the Business Requirement Document for all Analytics project derived from the tools during the manufacturing process

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, industrial engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting using data analytics tools, and working on Cloud based Data Warehouse (Preferred Snowflake)
• Excellent project management skills, with experience on leading and executing Analytics Product
• Proficiency in SQL (or Snowflake) for data extraction and manipulation
• Programming languages like Python is a plus
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Ability to work in a multicultural team, and with groups located in other regions like: Israel, Singapore, Wales and Germany
• Ability to communicate complex subjects in simple terms is fundamental
