Job summary

A leading energy firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Instrument & Control expert to support maintenance teams and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of eight years of experience in the oil and gas industry, combined with expertise in Siemens PLC programming and functional safety standards. Opportunities for professional growth abound in this dynamic position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight years of experience in instrument & control maintenance in oil & gas.
  • Expert knowledge in electrical & instrument international design protocols.
  • Experience in functional safety as per IEC 61511 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for maintenance teams on instrument issues.
  • Prepare and update maintenance procedures for instruments and related systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for instrument incidents.

Skills

Technical support for instrument-related issues
Root cause analysis
Experience with Siemens PLC
Knowledge of local codes and regulations
Functional safety understanding

Education

Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
