Acronis is seeking a Senior Software Developer to play a crucial role in building and enhancing our security part of Platform components and services. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and maintain scalable and resilient cloud solutions using Go Lang and Python.
• Perform code reviews and implement security enhancements to align with industry best practices.
• Work closely with the security team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Acronis Cyber Cloud platform.
• Analyze, optimize, and ensure the performance and reliability of solutions.
• Guide and mentor team members in adopting secure software development practices.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proficiency in Go Lang and Python with a strong track record of building cloud services.
• Application Security Expertise:
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating application vulnerabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar for vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with secure development frameworks (e.g., OWASP SAMM, NIST 800-64, ISO/IEC 27034).
• Experience in secure code reviews and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks.
• Knowledge of core software engineering principles: algorithms, data structures, multithreading, web services, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and build/deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
• Bonus: Training or certifications in Secure Software Development (e.g., SANS Institute certifications).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; Master’s Degree preferred.
