Power BI Developer | Contract
Job summary
A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Power BI Developer to build and enhance business intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for developing reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and designing database structures. Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of BI development experience and solid knowledge of Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse. Strong SQL skills and an understanding of data modeling are essential. This role offers a dynamic Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in BI development.
- Solid hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data modeling and ETL concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop Power BI reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.
- Participate in daily Agile stand-ups and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Design and build Azure Synapse database structures, including tables and stored procedures.
- Support data ingestion and transformation pipelines by understanding Azure Data Factory workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy, optimize report performance, and troubleshoot BI issues.
- Support end-to-end BI development from data modeling to visualization.

Education

- Support data ingestion and transformation pipelines by understanding Azure Data Factory workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy, optimize report performance, and troubleshoot BI issues.
- Support end‑to‑end BI development from data modeling to visualization.
- Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in BI development.
- Solid hands‑on experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data modeling and ETL concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and ability to work in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders at various levels.
