Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an Operating Theatre Assistant to assist surgeons and anesthetists. Responsibilities include setting up the operating theatre, managing surgical instruments, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Candidates should possess a GCE N/O Level/Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in a medical environment. - Relevant experience in an operating theatre or a medical environment.
- Ability to handle surgical instruments and equipment.
- Understanding of infection control procedures and quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon and anesthetist during surgeries.
- Set up the operating theatre suite before procedures.
- Perform cleaning and sterilization of instruments.
Education
- Office Hours or Shift Duties(2/3 Shift)
- Includes AWS, Performance Bonus, & Variable Bonus (3 Months)
- Central/West Area
- Assisting the surgeon and anesthetist by handling equipment, adjusting lights, and responding to technical issues that may arise.
- Setting up the operating theatre suite, including the patient table, lights, and other equipment, before each surgical list.
- Perform decontamination, washing, cleaning, packing and sterilizing instruments and instrument sets.
- Perform biological and chemical monitoring and documentation in accordance with quality assurance standard.
- Maintain adequate supply of instruments, instrument sets, packs and consumables for daily OT usage.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- GCE N/O Level/Diploma or any equivalent with relevant experience
