As a legal transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing legal audio recordings, documents, and proceedings into written form. • Transcribe legal documents, audio recordings, court hearings, depositions, and other legal materials from Chinese, Malay, and English languages.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all transcriptions, maintaining high standards of quality.
• Edit and proofread transcriptions to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical correctness.
• Adhere to deadlines, managing multiple transcription tasks efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information and client data.
• Communicate with clients to clarify any issues or ambiguities in the transcribed content.
• Stay updated on legal terminologies and transcription technologies to ensure the highest level of accuracy.

• Fluency in Chinese, Malay, and English with strong command over written communication in all three languages.
• Proven experience in legal transcription or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent listening and typing skills with the ability to transcribe quickly and accurately.
• Proficiency with transcription software and tools.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.

• Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in legal transcription, or a similar role in a legal or administrative capacity (preferred).
• Previous work from home experience is a plus.
