Job Description

Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework for the responsible and ethical use of generative AI (Gen-AI) technologies within DBS Bank's operations and service offerings

Establish policies, guidelines, and control measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to Gen-AI deployment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, risk, compliance, and business units, to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the use of Gen-AI

Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to business leaders and project teams on the appropriate application of Gen-AI, including considerations around AI literacy, prompt engineering, and model interpretability

Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the AI literacy of DBS Bank employees, enabling them to make informed decisions and effectively leverage Gen-AI capabilities

Monitor the evolving landscape of Gen-AI technologies, regulations, and industry trends, and proactively recommend updates to the bank's governance framework to ensure ongoing alignment and effectiveness

Represent DBS Bank in industry forums, regulatory dialogues, and external collaborations to contribute to the development of best practices and standards for responsible Gen-AI governance

Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical field, with a strong understanding of AI/ML principles and applications

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on AI governance, risk management, or compliance

Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive governance frameworks for the responsible use of emerging technologies, including a deep understanding of AI literacy and prompt engineering concepts

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and make data-driven decisions

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Proven track record of driving organizational change and fostering a culture of responsible innovation

Familiarity with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI principles
