Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework for the responsible and ethical use of generative AI (Gen-AI) technologies within DBS Bank's operations and service offerings.

Establish policies, guidelines, and control measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to Gen-AI deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, risk, compliance, and business units, to identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the use of Gen-AI.

Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to business leaders and project teams on the appropriate application of Gen-AI, including considerations around AI literacy, prompt engineering, and model interpretability.

Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the AI literacy of DBS Bank employees and promote a culture of responsible AI adoption.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging best practices in Gen-AI governance, and continuously update the bank's policies and practices to stay ahead of the curve.

Represent DBS Bank in industry forums, regulatory dialogues, and external collaborations to contribute to the development of industry-wide standards and guidelines for Gen-AI governance.

Requirements

Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical field, with a strong understanding of AI/ML principles and applications.

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective AI governance frameworks.

Demonstrated expertise in AI literacy, prompt engineering, and other advanced AI/ML techniques, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory and risk landscapes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical audiences.

Familiarity with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI.
