Job summary

A leading manpower agency in Singapore is seeking a Technical Support Officer for Art & Music. Responsibilities include managing art materials, supervising students, maintaining music resources, and supporting events. The ideal candidate should have at least GCE O Level qualifications, relevant experience in educational settings, and proficiency in MS Office. This is a 12-month contract role with specified working hours from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement, sorting, and disposal of art materials.
  • Maintain and oversee art rooms, kiln, and related equipment.
  • Supervise students and invigilate tests when needed.
  • Support events like Art exhibitions and SYF Art Festival.
  • Assist with procurement and maintenance of musical instruments.
  • Maintain music rooms and oversee room security.

Art:

Assist with procurement, sorting, and disposal of art materials and equipment.

Maintain and oversee Art rooms, Kiln, Woodwork, Darkroom, and related equipment (e.g., 3D printers, drill press, bend saw).

Supervise students and invigilate tests when needed.

Support events like Art exhibitions and SYF Art Festival.

Assist in photo-documentation and coordinate repairs/renovation works.

Music:

Assist with procurement, repair, and maintenance of instruments and resources.

Maintain music rooms, library, and equipment setup for lessons and exams.

Supervise students and oversee room security.

Requirements:

Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent.

Experience in schools with students, makerspaces, or art/music studios.

Proficient in MS Office/Excel; strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Able to manage multiple projects concurrently, with initiative and independence.

Duration/ Working hours:

12 months contract (16 Jan 2026 to 15 Jan 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 30
minutes lunch break
Fridays: 9:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays except by special
arrangement with off-in-lieu provision
Service not required on gazetted public holidays
