Job summary
A financial data solutions company in Singapore seeks a Data Engineer to design and build data solutions with a focus on Finance. The role begins with a 6-month attachment to the Finance department to gain domain knowledge and includes responsibilities like developing ETL pipelines and supporting the enterprise data warehouse. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Computer Science and 2-4 years of experience, with strong skills in Python and preferably knowledge of Snowflake and AWS.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant working experience in data engineering roles.
- Hands-on competency in Python and/or other programming languages.
- Experience/knowledge in Corporate Finance and/or SAP is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and deploy data solutions that can handle multiple users' needs.
- Build scalable and reliable ETL pipelines to ingest data from various sources.
- Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior members.
