Job Summary:

The operator position performs tasks on the production line under the supervision of skilled operators and Team Leaders.

Production process involves spoolable composite line pipe (RTP) and (RTR) filament winding.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITY:

• Assist in machine setup according to production run sheets.
• Load and unload raw materials during preparation and production.
• Assist in resin mixing following procedures and maintain resin levels.
• Perform visual and manual inspections, record results, and alert Team Leader to defects outside acceptable limits.
• Clean and prepare ovens after each run.
• Operate equipment for cutting, grinding, beveling, and testing fiberglass pipes into finished products.
• Mix adhesives, resins, coatings, and paints used in finishing or assembly.
• Cut parts for assembly.
• Fit, sand, assemble, and bond parts to complete customer orders.
• Maintain and record dimensions and tolerances on manufacturing and inspection reports.
• Operate process-related machines, pallet trucks, and forklifts.
• Work in extreme temperatures during processing.
• Clean machine parts after each run.
• Perform other duties as assigned by skilled operators or team leaders.
• Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a plant or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Teamwork, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

• Assist machine operators and understand machine operations.

• Follow instructions and procedures.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for entire shift.

• Recognize visual imperfections and defects.
• Work in shifts; environment includes indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Frequent lifting of materials and products.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills, Training, or Language Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of production experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
