  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to review construction drawings, IFC (Issued for Construction) documents, and ensure alignment with quantity data.
  • Provide technical support to cost estimation, procurement, and planning departments through detailed quantity reports.
  • Review and validate quantity reports prepared by junior engineers and external consultants.
  • Support tendering and bid evaluations by providing detailed quantity breakdowns and assisting in pricing analysis.
  • Conduct quantity variance analysis during design changes or value engineering exercises.
  • Collaborate with BIM and CAD teams to ensure quantity take‑offs are aligned with the latest model and drawing revisions.
  • Perform on‑site quantity validations as needed during execution phases.
  • Maintain well‑organized and auditable records of quantity calculations, assumptions, and revisions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in technical quantity estimation within the infrastructure, transportation, or construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of international standards for measurement (e.g., CESMM, POMI, NRM) and local market practices.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity take‑off software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.).
  • Experience working with 3D/BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and leadership skills; capable of mentoring junior staff and coordinating across departments.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and execution sequences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, rail, metro, airports, utilities).
  • Knowledge of contractual procedures, cost management systems, or project controls.
  • Exposure to project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
