Job Description

Our Global Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Director of High Rise Projects to join their team in Tabuk, KSA. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior Director - High Rise projects leading and driving the end-to-end lifecycle of this high-complexity giga project.

The Senior High Rise Director will be accountable for the pre and post contract works in the delivery of the project. This role requires an experienced leader with strategic vision, operational excellence, and the ability to navigate a dynamic and ambitious startup environment. Together with the leadership qualities and managing the full cycle of the project from design, construction and through to handover and the teams associated with each of the aspects. The leader will be collaborative, innovative and able to work in a multi-cultural environment for the best of the project and bring a minimum of 25 years experience in delivery high profile, high rise and supertall tower projects.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in all aspects with the delivery of the high rise and supertall towers as part of a giga-project:
• Management of the site works contractors with a focus on safety and innovation
• Advising and preparation of the documentation for the procurement of all works packages including MEP / Substructure works / Superstructure / Common Assets / Marine works and Anchor assets working closely with procurement and commercial
• Ensuring that the teams are aligned with the deliverable requirements
• Ensuring that the team, consisting of members from various stakeholders act seamlessly and are integrated in all aspects of the project.
• Schedule and costs management working within agreed budget constraints
• Reporting directly to the Executive Directorship as an integrated member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Able to communicate effectively both upstream, to senior client leadership and downstream to the team.
• Managing / understanding the design interface and the coordination with the delivery schedule.
• Represent the partners with monthly reporting and putting in place initiatives common to all stakeholders.
• Ensuring that the business interests of the client are maintained and not compromised
• Acting as the client representative on all aspects operational and commercial working closely with stakeholders senior leadership team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Senior Director - High Rise Experience:

Degree in Engineering with a Master’s in Business or related field preferred.

Chartered Engineer Status preferred.

Minimum of 25 years of experience delivering major high rise projects, with a proven track record in the Middle East.

Proven leadership qualities with a strategic mindset

Proven track record of delivering projects in the ME working with a multiculture workforce.

Proven track record of safety management and innovation in the engineering and construction industry.

Has a working understanding of the constant changing environment of mega projects in KSA with the flexibility to adapt accordingly with a “best of Project” attitude.
