Role Summary
Provide data governance and data management consulting in presales and delivery. Support clients in KSA to design and implement data strategies, controls, and operating models. Focus on establishing and activating Data Management Offices in line with NDMO and SDAIA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assess current data landscape, governance maturity, and regulatory gaps.
Design data governance frameworks, roles, responsibilities, and operating models.
Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures for data quality, privacy, security, and lifecycle.
Align client practices with NDMO data management standards and personal data controls.
Apply SDAIA data and AI related policies in relevant use cases.
Apply DGA digital government controls and policies where required for digital government platforms.
Design data catalogs, business glossaries, data classifications, and ownership and stewardship models.
Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data governance.
Prepare and present proposals, statements of work, effort estimates, and cost estimates for data projects.
Lead or support delivery of data governance initiatives, awareness sessions, and workshops.
Work with technical teams for data platforms, analytics, and AI to embed governance in solutions.
Report progress, issues, and recommendations to client stakeholders and sponsors.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Data or Information Management, Business, or related field.
At least 5 years experience in data governance and data management consulting.
Proven hands on experience implementing data governance frameworks in medium or large organizations.
Practical experience with NDMO standards and requirements in real projects is a must.
Practical experience with SDAIA data and AI guidelines or regulations in real projects is a must.
Experience with DGA digital government controls and policies in real projects is preferred.
Strong analytical, writing, and documentation skills including policies and procedures.
Confident in leading client meetings, workshops, and presentations.
Fluency in Arabic and English speaking, reading, and writing is a must.
Preferred Certifications
CDMP or other recognized data management certification.
Data governance specific certification such as DGSP or equivalent.
ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor or similar.
Privacy related certification such as CIPT or CIPP is a plus.
Cloud data certifications for Azure, AWS, or GCP are a plus.
Any official or accredited training on NDMO, SDAIA, or DGA frameworks is preferred
