Position: Smart Home Engineer - After Sales

Type: Full-time

As a Home Smart Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and programming of smart home technologies. Your expertise will help clients create efficient, secure, and user-friendly home automation systems. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation: Perform on-site installation of smart home devices including lighting, security systems, HVAC controls, and home entertainment systems.
2. Configuration: Configure and optimize smart home systems for optimal performance, ensuring all devices communicate seamlessly.
3. Programming: Write and implement automation scripts and routines using programming languages and smart home platforms (e.g., Home Assistant, SmartThings).
4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with installed systems, providing timely support to clients.
5. Client Interaction: Conduct needs assessments and provide recommendations based on client requirements and preferences.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and client interactions.
7. Training: Educate clients on system usage and best practices for maximizing their smart home experience.
8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest smart home technologies and trends, ensuring skills and knowledge are current.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience: Proven experience in home automation, electrical installation, or a related field.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages basics and familiarity with smart home protocols (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, Google Home, Home by Apple, Alexa).
4. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
5. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical clients.
6. Certifications: Relevant certifications in smart home technology or home automation systems are a plus.
