Instrument Technician jobs in South Africa

- Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including but not limited to (Chiller’s condenser fan motors, AHU’S, FCU’S, PUMPS, DX units, package units’ evaporative system).

- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of HVAC system and make necessary adjustments or repairs, service with log sheet report.

- Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls.

- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade and maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition.

- Install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, grills, bearings, valves, controls and other equipment as necessary.

- Perform daily corrective maintenance schedule for the equipment.

- Maintain related records, log of tasks performed, and write reports as required.

- Maintain complete confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.

- Perform any other duties assigned to him related to the nature of the work.
