VRF Technician

Job Summary

A VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing VRF air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The technician ensures optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install VRF systems, including indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, electrical wiring, and control systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, including checking refrigerant levels, cleaning filters and coils, and inspecting system components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, including refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, electrical issues, or control malfunctions.
  • >Repair and replace faulty components, such as compressors, fans, valves, sensors, or circuit boards.
  • Perform system start-ups, calibrations, and programming of control units for optimal operation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver quality HVAC solutions.
