A leading industrial firm in Dammam seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support operations in rolling mills. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, specifically with PLC programming and troubleshooting skills. This role involves adhering to safety policies, using SAP for work orders, and participating in preventive maintenance programs. Familiarity with IIoT concepts and strong communication skills are required.

- Adhere to ISPC HSE policies, Lock-out/Tag-out, and electrical isolation procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of Scada, HMI systems, PLCs, drives, motors, and sensors.
- Support shift operations by preparing breakdown and shift reports.
- Assist in commissioning automation fault finding, diagnosis, ensure equipment returns to normal operation stage, for rolling mill equipment including loopers, shears, cooling beds, reheat furnaces and all associated Automation Assets, Finite Control Elements, Systems.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs.
- Use SAP PM for work orders, spares, and material reservations.
- PLC programming (Siemens Step7/TIA, Rockwell/AB).
- Basic HMI/SCADA (WinCC, Inductive Automation Ignition v8.1/8.33).
- Troubleshooting of AC/DC motors, soft starters, drives – ABB, Parker, Siemens, AllenBradley.
- Basic instrumentation (encoders, sensors, HMDs, loop scanners, process instrumentation..etc).
- Basic networking (Profibus, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus TCP, Modbus ASCI, RS485).
- UPS and low-voltage switchgear familiarity.
- Awareness of IIoT concepts.
- Familiarity with MQTT and OPC UA for device connectivity.
- Support data collection and historian systems.
- Participate in OEE, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization projects.
