We are seeking an innovative, forward-looking Technical Services Manager to advance and implement key strategies in support of the Koch Specialty Plant Services (KSPS) vision in the Middle East region. KSPS is a Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) company, serving customers in the refining and petrochemicals industries.

The Technical Services Manager will drive continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of our processes as we grow the technical services business in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning the team on a shared vision, applying economic thinking, driving the Principle Based Management (PBM) culture throughout the business, and stimulating profitable commercial growth for technical services.

What You Will Do

1. Champion the PBM culture across the organization and ensure culture alignment with direct reports. Act as a resource for other employees within our organization.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Middle East region.
3. Analyze market trends and economic data to inform strategic planning.
4. Develop and implement short and long term strategies to drive year over year profitable growth for the technical service team.
5. Apply economic principles to decision-making processes.
6. Optimize resources and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders across KSPS and the Equipment, Technical & Services capability globally.
8. Oversee a team of Service and Commissioning Engineers and Tower Specialists and ensure high quality customer service support.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

1. Knowledge and exposure in the construction, installation, start-up and commissioning activities within the refining and petrochemical industries.
2. Strong understanding of financial and cost drivers and with entrepreneurship skills.
3. Proactivity in driving commercial growth and business development.
4. Excellent leadership and/or team management skills.
5. Passion to work in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse workforce.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

1. Background in a technical services management role.
2. Familiarity with Principle Based Management (PBM) is highly desirable.
