Under the general guidance of the Assistant Human Resources Manager or his/her delegate, and within the limits of established Policies, Procedures, and Human Resources Manual, oversees the administration of the Hotel Clinic and provides medical assistance to all hotel employees & guests while supporting HR functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Attend to all staff medical needs.
2. Handle urgent hospitalization, doctor’s care, etc., and accompany staff when appropriate.
3. Ensure adequate medicine and drugs are available in the Hotel Clinic at all times.
4. Replenish all Hotel First Aid boxes at least once a month.
5. Assist Human Resources by maintaining staff medical records.
6. Facilitate medical examinations of new staff.
7. Visit sick female and male staff in their rooms if required.
8. Remain available at all times while on duty to attend to staff medical needs.
9. Obtain health cards for all staff.
10. Maintain all medical equipment belonging to the Hotel Clinic and in the hotel.
11. Keep the Hotel Clinic neat and tidy at all times.
12. Participate in Hotel Health & Safety and Fire Training Programs and respond to fire alarms, real or drill.
13. Provide monthly and annual accident statistics for HR reports.
14. Be a HACCP committee member and actively improve workplace health & safety.
15. Ensure First Aiders are certified and conduct spot checks on their knowledge.
16. Coordinate annual food hygiene certificates for Food Handlers.
17. Obtain insurance cards for all senior staff & management from the designated company.
18. Update health, health certificates, and insurance cards on the computer.
19. Maintain daily filing of staff medical records.
20. Coordinate transportation assistance with the driver.
21. Handle medical reimbursements for staff.
22. Prepare memos for health cards & Food Handlers fees.
23. Follow doctor’s orders.
24. Follow up on documents in Hamad Hospital and other affiliated hospitals.
25. Attend to all hotel guest medical needs and urgent hospitalization.
26. Forward sick leave reports to concerned Heads of Department.
27. Liaise with government medical services to stay informed of the latest medical needs and developments.
28. Organize health checks, vaccination campaigns, blood donation drives for staff.
29. Arrange quotations for medical services or replacement nurses as needed.
30. Perform other reasonable requests by management.
31. Ensure compliance with FLS legislation.
32. Use safety equipment properly, report damages, and store after use.
33. Report all accidents, hazards, or dangerous occurrences.
34. Coordinate with Qatar Red Crescent for First Aid Training certification courses for staff.

SELF-MANAGEMENT:

1. Comply with hotel rules, employment handbook, grooming standards, and time policies.
2. Participate in training and self-development opportunities.
3. Understand policies related to health, hygiene, and fire safety.
4. Familiarize with emergency and evacuation procedures.
5. Log security incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly.
6. Follow the company's code of conduct and embody company values.
7. Perform all tasks as directed to achieve business goals.
