We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) expertise to join our team under the Contingent Workforce (SMP) model. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and compliant electrical installations in hazardous environments, while supporting design reviews, commissioning, and operational excellence.

• Perform Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) studies and ensure compliance with ATEX, IECEx, and NEC standards.
• Review EPC design documents for electrical systems, including 380KV substations and associated feeders.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical equipment in hazardous zones.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper selection of certified equipment for explosive atmospheres.
• Supervise and commission HV substations and interconnection systems.
• Monitor EPC contractor work for compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and provide technical guidance to teams.
• Train technicians on electrical safety and HAC compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within hydrocarbon or process industries.
• Proven expertise in Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and related standards (ATEX, IECEx, NEC).
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems, protection relays, transformers, SCADA systems.
• Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting electrical systems in hazardous environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
