Job summary

A logistics company in Sabah is looking for a candidate to coordinate tasks for sorters and drivers. You will oversee daily activities, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Candidates should have excellent leadership and communication skills, be familiar with logistics operations, and ideally hold a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field. This role requires working on a rotational shift basis, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements.
• Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping would be of good use.
• Willing to work on a rational shift basis depending on business needs.

Job Description

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements
• Candidates currently based in Kota Kinabalu are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work on a rational shift basis depending on business needs
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
• Familiarity with postcodes / routing / mapping would be of good use
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
• Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment
• Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous
• Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required
