A logistics company in Johor is seeking a dedicated delivery planner to manage and coordinate delivery schedules based on customer requirements and priorities. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing routes to minimize costs, and handling any emergencies that arise during transit. Candidates should have at least a Diploma and preferably two years of relevant experience in the field. This position offers opportunities for improvement suggestions in delivery strategies.
Plan delivery schedules based on priority, route, and customer requirements. Ensure on time delivery. Plan optimal delivery routes to minimize time, cost, and fuel consumption. Adjust schedules for urgent, late, or rescheduled deliveries. Adjust delivery plans during emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, or unforeseen delays. Coordinate with third-party logistics or contractors when needed. Ensure all dispatch documents (Delivery Order, Invoice, Label, COA etc.) are accurate and complete. Verify customer requirements, delivery instructions, and statutory compliance for transported goods. Communicate delivery plans to warehouse staff, and sales team. Update on delivery status or delays promptly. Analyze delivery performance and suggest improvements in scheduling or routing.
