Overview

ELEGANZ LIFESTYLE SDN BHD is seeking a full-time Vehicle Inspector & Appraiser to join our team in Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly inspecting and appraising vehicles to ensure they meet our high quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive inspections of vehicles, both externally and internally, to identify any potential issues or defects
• Preparing detailed inspection reports documenting the condition of each vehicle
• Providing accurate and objective appraisals of vehicle values based on market trends, mileage, and overall condition
• Collaborating with the sales team to discuss vehicle assessments and pricing
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to vehicle inspections and appraisals
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices for vehicle inspections
• Able to travel around
• Any ad hoc tasks when required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle inspection and/or appraisal, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and common issues
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify even minor defects or concerns
• Proficient in using vehicle inspection checklists and documentation tools
• Confident communication skills to present findings and recommendations to the sales team
• Problem-solving skills to accurately diagnose and assess vehicle condition
• Certification or training in vehicle inspection and/or appraisal is an advantage
