Are you ready to get ahead in your career?
The role of Transformation Program Test Lead is highly specialized, requiring significant strategic and management experience in large-scale, complex technology and business system programs in the telecommunications sector.
Key responsibilities are to define, govern, and lead the entire Quality Assurance (QA) and testing strategy for a major, multi-stream Transformation Program, ensuring the deployed solutions are functionally correct, scalable, and stable across the new end-to-end business process landscape.
Transformation Test Strategy: Develop and own the overall QA strategy for the program, spanning multiple phases (e.g., System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, Cutover Dress Rehearsals, and Warranty).
Scope and Traceability: Manage the testing scope against massive business and system requirements, ensuring end-to-end traceability of all critical transformation-related processes (e.g., Quote-to-Cash, Order-to-Activate).
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Govern the testing activities of multiple internal teams, System Integrators (SIs), and third-party vendors, ensuring unified quality standards and coordinated test execution across different partner organizations.
Risk Management: Proactively identify high-impact testing risks related to integration, data migration, and legacy system decommissioning, developing robust mitigation plans.
Integration Testing Focus: Lead the planning and execution of complex System Integration Testing (SIT) across the entire new BSS/OSS stack, focusing on the thousands of data exchanges via APIs and middleware.
Test Data Strategy: Design and oversee the strategy for creating and managing high-volume, production-like, and legally compliant Test Data necessary to validate the migration and new processes.
Environment Readiness: Be accountable for the readiness, configuration, and stability of dedicated, large-scale Test Environments (often requiring virtualization and cloud resources) that accurately mimic the future production architecture.
Automation Framework: Define and drive the implementation of a comprehensive, multi-layered automation framework capable of scaling to the entire transformed landscape.
Defect Triage Leadership: Chair high-priority, multi-vendor defect triage meetings, managing the defect lifecycle, setting severity/priority guidelines, and ensuring development and vendor teams meet aggressive resolution SLAs.
Progress Reporting: Provide clear, concise, and high-stakes progress and quality reports to C-level stakeholders and the Program Steering Committee, highlighting the program's readiness for critical milestones (e.g., Go/No-Go decisions for cutover).
Cutover and Stabilization Support: Support the final Cutover and Go-Live activities by leading a testing command center to validate post-migration processes and stabilize the new environment during the warranty period.
Minimum 12-15 years of working experience in similar roles.
Deep expertise in BSS (Billing, CRM, Order Management) and OSS (Service Provisioning, Inventory, Fault) transformation and integration.
Extensive experience leading testing in Agile/Scrum and SAFe environments, including CI/CD pipeline integration.
Proven experience in Migration Testing (data, services) and End-to-End (E2E) Business Process Testing.
Hands-on knowledge of API Testing (e.g., Postman, REST/SOAP), SQL, and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Tosca. Katalon, UiPath).
Exceptional Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, and the ability to lead globally distributed, multi-cultural QA teams.
