Job summary

A leading lift manufacturer is seeking a dedicated individual for an installation role in Selangor, Malaysia. You will be responsible for performing installations, testing, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in lift and escalator installation, must possess a valid CIDB Green Card, and have their own transport. This role requires the ability to work on-site and travel to multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year installation experience in lift and escalator.
• Possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
• Must have own transport and a valid motorcycle license (at least B2).

Responsibilities

• Perform physical installation according to the installation manual.
• Conduct testing and commissioning as per the manual.
• Ensure units meet local compliance requirements.
• Prepare units for handover to engineering and customer.
• Minimize installation errors at the jobsite.
• Suggest efficiency improvements to reduce hours.

Job description

Perform physical installation according to the installation manual.

Perform testing and commissioning according to the testing commissioning manual.

Ensure installed units are in accordance with SAIS & local authority inspection requirements.

Prepare installed units & ensure readiness for handover to EI and the customer.

Ensure total installation hours spent at jobsites are in accordance with the plan hours

Minimize quality hours at the jobsite due to installation errors and site coordination issues.

Suggest & Implement efficiency improvement initiatives to reduce installation manhours at the jobsite.

Adhere to the company Organization Norms, Compliance Radar, perform Compliance Radar and Compliance Book.

Adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines set for Quality Management and Environmental Management System.

Practice Schindler Safety Fundamental and promote Safety Behavior.
