Meet The Team

DexCom, Inc. empowers people to take control of their health by providing superior continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. We provide game-changing technology to people with diabetes and offer employees the opportunity to do life-changing work. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Employee Communications, APAC Region to join our global Enterprise Communications team and lead our internal communications strategy across the APAC region. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of the cultural nuances and best practices in internal communications within this diverse region. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a people leader, and a trusted advisor to the senior leaders in our APAC offices.

Where You Come In
  • You will develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy tailored to the APAC region while ensuring alignment with global communication standards and respecting regional cultural differences.
  • You will lead the creation of clear, compelling and relevant communications for various internal channels including newsletters, Dexcom’s internal intranet, email campaigns, and digital signage to ensure timely delivery of key messages.
  • You will provide communications support to offices across the APAC region including Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand and align with local teams to understand their unique needs and challenges.
  • You will support the SVP & GM, Commercial Operations, APAC region, with executive internal communications and the creation of high-profile content for different formats, including presentations, internal posts, videos, scripts, talking points, and more.
  • You will support the content creation process and delivery of APAC regional town halls and events, partnering with internal groups and leaders to ensure flawless execution.
  • You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR, global ops, and regional office teams.
  • You will lead a team of communications professionals across the region and foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • You will contribute to the overall effectiveness and impact of internal communications, supporting the Enterprise team and pitching in as needed.
What Makes You Successful
  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in corporate communications (preferably in the health care industry; and within the APAC region).
  • Exceptional writing, strong presentation skills, and high attention to detail to craft concise and engaging content.
  • Deep understanding of the cultural dynamics and communication preferences within the APAC region.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic internal communications plans.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams.
  • Experience in providing communications support to senior executives.
  • Effectively partners and builds relationships across all levels, and with diverse groups.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; a willingness to innovative ideas and to pivot as needed.
  • Actively listens, requests clarification when needed, and is receptive to feedback.
  • Experience using digital collaboration tools including Teams, Zoom, Viva Engage, Sharepoint, and relevant internal communications platforms.
