As a Sports Advisor, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores ‘satisfied or satisfied’. From a friendly and professional welcome through to a quick and easy payment process, your role is to always deliver a 5 star shopping experience. Responsibilities

  1. To Customers
  2. Welcome customers in a professional manner.
  3. Fully commit to the satisfaction of every customer and determine a suitable solution for every situation (returns, complaints, checkout etc.)
  4. To educate customers on omni-channel brand offerings for complete range of interested products
  5. To know the technical features of Decathlon products and user benefits to offer customers appropriate products and services, regardless of whether they are in range
  6. Develop the network of customers both in store and online, to know them better and establish a personal relationship
  7. Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports
  8. Improve and develop customer information by encouraging the subscription/registration of loyalty card to customers
  9. To participate in sports related community events within the neighbourhood of the store

  11. To know the ambition of the department and take action with the team to achieve it
  12. Promote innovation and sports experience in store
  13. Boost Decathlon Malaysia best sales by using resources and commercial tools
  14. To put together the layout in store in accordance with implantation principles and guideline
  15. Produce high-quality implantation based on Satisfied Customer Family (FCS)
  16. Maintain the layout with good facing to make customers satisfied
  17. To make sure that stock is accurate and available by using the automatic replenishment system
  18. To bring awareness about Decathlon Connect to all stakeholders
  19. For Safety of People and Goods
  20. Enforce basic safety and security standards in the departments.
  21. To know and enforce the preventive and operating guidelines regarding fire safety and evacuation procedures
  22. Apply and enforce all the security procedures (regarding people, goods and cash) and play an active role in combating shrinkage
  23. Observe the product safety policy (standardized adjustments and traceability of sensitive products, use-by dates etc.).
  24. Development and Complementary Skills
  25. Know and manage the personal development plan and training plan.
  26. Participate in training, develop the training skills and become a trainer.
  27. Improve skills of the teammates with the leader.
Profile

Requirements

  1. Students are encouraged to apply or someone who is looking for a part time position.
  2. Per hourly rate RM13.56
  3. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken) are essential. Other languages are a plus.
  4. Minimum qualifications Bachelors Degree/Diploma is required.
