Responsibility
  • Support the Construction/Project Manager in all daily site operations and project coordination.
  • Monitor and update site progress using Microsoft Project based on the project program established at the project’s commencement.
  • Compile and organize all documents related to extension of time (EOT) such as Site Instructions and Variation Orders, and submit to the Project Manager for review.
  • Advise the Project Manager and Construction Manager on issues causing delays and assist in preparing the necessary contractual correspondence to Clients and Subcontractors.
  • Prepare mini work programs or schedules as required, based on the Two Weeks Look Ahead Plan provided by the Construction Manager.
  • Monitor the Material Wastage Report and take preventive or corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure Site Engineers prepare accurate and timely Site Daily Reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of Request for Inspection (RFI) forms to the Supervising Consultant before commencement of site works.
  • Plan and update site material request lists and ensure proper tracking.
  • Check and verify work-done sketches prepared by the Project Team and joint measurement sketches prepared by Subcontractors for submission to the Contracts Department for monthly progress claims.
  • Supervise and monitor staff under your responsibility as per the site organization chart.
  • Liaise with Consultants to resolve all technical issues and ensure smooth site progress. Any cost implications must be discussed with the Project Manager and Construction Manager prior to consultant engagement.
  • Review revised construction drawings for discrepancies and coordinate with the Technical Department to resolve issues.
  • Ensure all site works are carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings and confirmed decisions via approved RFIs.
