Job summary

A retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an individual for warehouse operations. The successful candidate will establish warehouse systems, manage inventory, and assist purchasing activities. Fresh graduates and those with ideally 1 year of experience in retail are encouraged to apply. This role demands attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office tools. Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Establish a proper system for warehouse operations.
  2. Manage inventory of the warehouse and perform physical arrangement of goods.
  3. Ensure accurate receiving, storage, retrieval, and distribution of goods in a timely manner for Sg Buloh Warehouse.
  4. Assist all purchasing activities.
  5. Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
  6. Perform physical stock verification and prepare monthly stock statements/reports.
  7. Match and verify supplier invoices/delivery orders against submissions.
  8. Ensure timely submission of all invoices and delivery orders to the Finance Department.
  9. Create and maintain a detailed inventory list of all incoming, outgoing, and current supplies.
  10. Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating cost-effective contracts and deals.
  11. Coordinate with the project team and follow up on delays or orders.
  12. Expedite and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery to support operations.
  13. Maintain proper filing for both purchasing and warehouse records.
  14. Any other duties assigned by management as and when deemed necessary.
Requirements
