Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and provision of end-to-end technical support.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits and risks for the Company. Recommend technology upgrades, processes, applications, protocols and standards improvements.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure server, network, hardware, software systems, applications are set up and maintained in good working order.
• Implement and/or facilitate server, database, or any other IT related migration exercise.
• Remote access application and set up of server mailbox for users, including access authority matrix.
• Manage Company’s official website, including web development, social media and web-based business application.
• Provide immediate onsite IT support & services to the Company and its subsidiary and/or related Companies as and when necessary.
• Liaise with vendors for software implementations, including Accounting System, CRM, POS System, PABX, CCTV, door access/attendance system and other software.
• Create and maintain necessary documentation/record, ensuring and monitoring the legality and compatibility of software used and maintenance of records for proper accountability of IT assets.
• Manage monthly and yearly budget planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in computer science/information technology, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in IT leadership and management in the related field.
• Strong leadership, collaborative, and technical capabilities, with a focus on cross-departmental collaboration, project execution, and team development in line with QMS ISO standards and organizational goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, CRM, cybersecurity best practices and experienced in remote access, web-based application, wireless technology applications and interfaces.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and verbal.
