Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in interior design, preferably with landed home/residential projects.
• Proven ability to guide, mentor, and manage a design team.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients & stakeholders).
• Creative flair, proactive attitude, independent working style, and reliable transport within Klang Valley.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be both project owner and team lead, responsible for:

• Acting as the primary client liaison, ensuring smooth communication from design to construction.

• Leading and mentoring junior designers/interns in mood boards, 3D visuals, and detailed 2D drawings.

• Translating client needs into practical, creative, and aesthetic solutions in close collaboration with Sales & Marketing.

• Presenting and refining design concepts with clients to deliver results that exceed expectations.

• Conducting site assessments, validating specifications, and ensuring precise measurements.

• Coordinating project handovers and site briefings with the Project department and contractors.

• Taking charge of material sourcing and procurement.

• Performing site visits for quality assurance, issue resolution, and final inspections.

• Maintaining detailed project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in interior design, preferably with landed home/residential projects.

• Leadership: Proven ability to guide, mentor, and manage a design team.

• Language: Proficiency in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking clients & stakeholders).

• Skills:

  • Strong B2C communication and project coordination skills.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, SketchUp.

  • Bonus: V‑Ray, Corona, Adobe Suite, MS Office.

  • Familiarity with landed house design and on‑site management.
