A health-focused organization in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive/Executive for planning and executing corporate events and wellness programs. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience as an Event Executive, preferably with a background in Pharmacy or health science. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates must be willing to travel or relocate to Bukit Raja Klang, and experience in health screenings is a plus.
The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events and wellness programs.
The role involves liaising with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations, managing logistics and budgets, and supporting administrative tasks related to agreements and payments. This position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful event delivery.
Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, health and wellness programs, and engagement activities for existing and potential corporate clients.
Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the event planning process to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project objectives.
Handle all event logistics including setup, dismantling, inventory management, and follow-up processes.
Develop creative event concepts and themes to enhance engagement and brand visibility.
Coordinate with the office administration team on client agreements, quotations, and payment-related matters.
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report spending to ensure compliance with approved allocations.
Ensure all necessary documentation, permits, and work approvals are completed accurately and on time.
Conduct final checks and troubleshoot issues on event days to ensure all standards and requirements are met.
Work closely with internal teams (corporate sales, marketing, supply chain, and logistics) to ensure timely preparation and delivery of event materials.
Collaborate with suppliers and partners to secure the best resources, pricing, and service quality.
Maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support smooth event execution.
Assess each event’s overall success through feedback, participation data, and budget analysis.
Prepare post-event reports and share findings to continuously improve planning, efficiency, and attendee experience.
Stay updated on industry trends and propose new ideas to enhance event quality and effectiveness.
Support or perform basic health screening tests such as blood glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI, and other routine wellness screenings.
Assist in planning, setup, and coordination of health screening activities such as blood glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, and BMI screenings.
Support the medical and pharmacy teams in ensuring proper handling and documentation of test kits and results.
Supervise event-day workflows to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with medical testing standards.
Liaise with internal trainers to ensure event staff and screening crew are competent in basic POCT procedures and customer communication.
Act as the primary point of contact between the event organisers and internal departments.
At least 2-3 years’ experience as an Event Executive or coordinator.
Minimum SPM or Diploma qualification, preferably in Event Management or related fields. Candidates with a Pharmacy background or health science are preferred.
Candidates with Dietitian or Pharmacy Assistant experience are preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Good negotiation ability and strong problem-solving ability.
Good administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize within a busy workload.
Initiative to work with a minimum of supervision.
Good IT skills including competence with Google products (Sheet, Docs, Slide, Form, and Gmail in particular and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience of business acquisition/proposal writing.
Ability to review and summarize complex documents.
Own transport and being able to outstation/work during weekend is preferred.
Willing to travel or relocate to Bukit Raja Klang.
