Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop stress, substrate, driver, and adaptor boards, including stencils, related hardware, and software solutions in accordance with product applications and various stress systems
- Verify, buy off, and release hardware and software deliverables on time, including the development and continuous improvement of buy-off procedures
- Perform stress tests and transfer technical know-how to the Engineering Sustaining team
- Collaborate closely with international, cross-functional teams, including Product Development and Application Engineering, across multiple sites
- Handle board development and adaptation according to new requirements derived from the roadmaps, while supporting multiple projects in parallel as a project work-package member
- Align and track workflows with external partners and business suppliers, maintain existing supplier relationships, procurement of new board designs, and ensure on-time delivery and release
- Actively participate in problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D methodology) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Create, update, and maintain documentation for new hardware, software, and processes (e.g., work instructions, specifications, OJTI), ensuring accuracy and adequacy
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics or equivalent), with a minimum of 1 to 3 years related experience in semiconductor reliability stress testing and board design is preferred.
- Experience in board design, reliability test methodology & concepts, reference standards, working principle of stress equipment, and programming know-how will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Cadence and/or Altium PCB design software
- Experience in the design of reliability test boards and test boards for high power /frequency will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in embedded system design (example, Arduino) and programming skills (example, C# and C++)
- Knowledge on interfaces like SPI, JTAG,I2C, SWI will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge in schematic/electronic circuitry and practical experience in troubleshooting & diagnostic of electronic circuitry
- Knowledge on international standards like IPC (example, IPC-7351, IPC-9701, IPC-A-600F, IPC J-STD-001ES and etc) and JEDEC
- Knowledge in biased conditions of reliability stress test and surface mounttechnology (SMT) processes will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Fresh graduates with good academic result is encouraged to apply
