Pinnacle Homes Realty and Development Corporation – Petaling
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Executive or Accounts Executive to join the team at Pinnacle Homes Groups of Companies, a leading construction and property development company based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for managing all financial accounting and reporting functions for our construction and property development projects, playing a critical part in our continued success.
What you'll be doing
Maintaining full set of accounts, inclusive producing Financial Statement such as Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet
Prepare, process and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, general ledger, payments, inter‑company balances, audit schedule and bank reconciliations
Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, internal and company policies
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process for construction and property development projects
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, other financial planning activities and cash flow analyses
Collaborate with internal departments, project managers, site supervisors, other internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision‑making
Providing support and guidance to the finance team, as needed. Supervise and mentor junior members of the finance team, as required
Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
Generating financial reports, statements, and analysis to support management decision‑making
Liaising with internal departments, external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities
Allocating accounting codes and inputting the transactions into the accounting software system
Maintaining debtors/ creditors accounts/balance reconciliation and dealing with debtors/ creditors on accounts related matters
In-charge of the issuance and reimbursement of petty cash
Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior/ head of department
What we’re looking for
Least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar accounts or financial reporting role, preferably within the construction and property development industry
Bachelor'sDegree in Accounting, Finance or other professional qualification equivalent
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in using accounting software such as AutoCount, IFCA & CSS, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools in major Microsoft Windows and Office suite would be added advantages
Excellent analytical, attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy and problem‑solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team
Proficient in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin to effectively communicate with especially Mandarin‑speaking all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate local dialects with all levels of stakeholders internally/externally would be an added advantage
Confident, proactive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Problem solving skill and resourceful thinking
