Sekolah Sri UCSI is seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary Sejarah Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality Sejarah instruction to secondary school students, fostering a deep understanding of Malaysian and world history while nurturing critical thinking, analytical skills, and an appreciation of historical perspectives. This role requires strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a commitment to holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Sejarah lessons for secondary-level students in alignment with the school curriculum.
  • Teach Sejarah topics effectively, covering historical events, themes, and developments relevant to the secondary syllabus.
  • Foster students’ analytical, critical thinking, and interpretative skills through discussions, source analysis, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including multimedia resources, project-based learning, debates, and historical case studies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through tests, assignments, presentations, and projects; provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Encourage independent learning and active participation in classroom discussions.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students’ academic progress and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and contribute to curriculum development.
