Responsibilities

A Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet certain standards of quality. Here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Quality Control Systems: Establishing and maintaining quality control systems to ensure products meet required specifications .
• Testing and Inspection: Implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment .
• Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to prepare reports on quality performance .
• Compliance: Ensuring that processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements .
• Problem-Solving: Identifying defects, determining their causes, and providing solutions to prevent recurrence .
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and inspection reports .
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively recommending and implementing improvements to enhance product durability and performance .

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, DMAIC).
• Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficient in using quality software tools and performing data analysis (e.g., Minitab, Power BI, Excel).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
