Job summary

A food technology company in Kajang is seeking an inspector to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspecting raw materials and packaging, analyzing compliance, and contributing improvement ideas. Candidates must hold a Diploma in Food Technology and preferably have at least one year of experience. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in food management is an advantage.
• Proficient in reading and writing in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on raw and packaging materials for compliance.

Job description

Perform inspection activity from checking, finding, analyzing and reporting to ensure the raw material, packaging material and 3rd party manufacturer product is comply with the food safety and quality standard.

Perform inspection of all inbound materials & product, and to assure the food safety and food quality compliance. Also responsible to inspect trade returned product and proposed its disposition.

Responsible to contribute any improvement ideas for food safety & food quality system.

To maintain specification, various food safety declaration and reference standard.

Adhering to the SHE Management System and to highlight any unsafe condition in working area.

Responsible for compliance and implementation of GMP, QMP and food safety standard

Requirements

• Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent from the recognize tertiary education.
• 1 year working experience in food management will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in reading and writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
