Job description

As the QAC Manager at Chong Wah Plastics Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor (15 minutes drive from Kota Kemuning or Bukit Tinggi-Klang), where you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance and control efforts to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to meet customer requirements
  • Monitor incoming raw materials, production activities and inspect finished goods to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions
  • Analyse quality data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to the quality team to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • To ensure and upkeep continuous implementation of Integrated Management System related procedures and systems.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role in the manufacturing industry
  • Thorough understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 & ISO14001, and experience in implementing and maintaining these systems
  • Proficient in data analysis and report writing to communicate quality metrics and improvement initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure that all quality control processes are followed accurately and consistently.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a quality team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers
